On this page are two projects I have worked on as a finance major at WashU's Olin Business School.
Team Client Communication Consulting Project:
Bayless School District
This project asked myself and a group of my classmates to serve as a communication consulting firm for Bayless School District, a St. Louis school district looking to better portray their core values to students, parents, and alumni. This project served to provide hands-on experience with a real organization, effectively allowing us to utilize the skills and attributes taught throughout the semester in a real environment. This project gave me a better understanding of how to present an idea in a way that will be well-received and perfectly understood.
Marketing Team Proposal: Victoria's Secret
This project asked myself and a group of my classmates to apply the marketing principles taught all semester long to a real business situation. My team was asked to choose a company, in our case, Victoria's Secret, facing significant problems and give a pitch on what changes could be made to a mock Board of Investors. This project gave me the necessary analytical skills to examine a company and make an informed decision on potential changes.
